Our clients regularly retain us to assist in the location, recruitment and hiring of persons to manage specific functions. We work in most functional areas, with clients ranging from small and specialized regional businesses to large multi-billion dollar, multi-national Fortune 100 organizations. We have clients in the United States and Europe, and regularly recruit candidates globally.

Each search starts with a meeting with our client to determine specific needs. A search plan is then developed that encompasses domestic and international targets, as appropriate, with a short list being developed within four to five weeks.

Candidates go through a sophisticated and rigorous screening process, culminating in a personal visit to MEMA headquarters where several consultants have the opportunity to meet and evaluate each potential candidate. This helps ensure fit with our client, and is a key indicator of candidate interest. Next, a full presentation of the proposed candidate slate is made to our client, along with dates that the candidates are available to meet, limiting scheduling delays. The firm then manages the entire search process from initial meetings and references to second interviews, debriefings, spousal counseling, candidate offers and post-hire follow-up. Throughout the process, candidates and clients are communicated with on a regular basis to confirm interest, temper expectations, address concerns/issues and ensure quality and speed.
